A popular active ingredient, Bromoxynil, which was commonly used in many Buffalo-safe weedkillers, has recently been reclassified and can no longer be sold in concentrate form above 1.5% w/v. However, it is still available in Ready-to-Use or Hose-On formats, such as Searles Buffalo Master 2L Hose-On.

As an alternative to the now-restricted Bromoxynil products, we recommend Surefire Multi Turf, which offers effective broadleaf weed control and is safe for Buffalo lawns.
