Lucerne Mulch

Lucerne mulch, also known as alfalfa, is an organic mulch that is made from dried lucerne hay. It is one of the most nutrient-rich mulches available. Widely used in vegetable gardens, flower beds, and around fruit trees because it feeds the soil while protecting it.

Nutrients: Lucerne is high in nitrogen and contains useful amounts of potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphur and trace elements. As it breaks down, these nutrients are gradually released into the soil.

Boosts Plant Growth: Contains a natural plant growth stimulant called triacontanol, which has been shown to promote stronger root development, healthier foliage and increased flowering and fruit production in many plants
