Passwell Complete Lorikeet Food is a top selling lorikeet feed available in 500 gram, 1kg, 5kg, 10kg, 20kg sizes. A granular powder that is a complete balanced diet for pet, aviary or wild lorikeets. Can be fed dry, straight from the pack, or mixed with the desired quantity of water to produce a wet mix. Passwell also has a bird treat called Passwell Avian Lorikeet delight.

About Lorikeet Diets:
 In the wild, lorikeets feed mainly on flowering native plants. They obtain energy from the simple sugars in nectar (e.g. sucrose, glucose), while pollen supplies protein and other essential nutrients. Lorikeets have a simple digestive tract and consume easily digested food, resulting in their naturally “squirty” droppings. Unfortunately, poorly-formulated commercial diets or home-made recipes are a common source of disease and mortality in captive lorikeets.

Directions: Feed dry, or mix with warm water to a desired consistency. Always ensure that fresh drinking water is available. Remove soiled or uneaten food daily. Captive birds are prone to over-eating, so feed according to the guidelines on the pack. Offer a variety of fruit, vegetables and as much native blossom as possible. Wild Lorikeets: Limit feed quantity and frequency to reduce dependence on the food. Thoroughly clean feed containers between feeds.
