We have an extensive range of premium chicken brooders. Heating or brooding is crucial in the first few weeks of life, when chicken chicks can't regulate their own body temperature. Our range includes heat plates, chick cages, pens, and brooder boxes, providing the essential warmth and protection they need.

Chicken Brooder Kit: Our bestselling Chicken Brooder Kit is available in three sizes: small, medium, and large, and is a complete solution ideal for new baby chicks. Each kit comes fully equipped with everything you need: a heat lamp, a light/heat lamp, a thermometer, a feeder dish, a ball waterer, and pet sheets. It provides an enclosed space or cage to keep chicks safe from the elements and other pets, without the need to spend more money on a separate enclosure. The small size includes only one lamp, which provides both light and heat. Only the medium and large sizes include two different lamps.

Heat Plates: These types of brooders are ideal if you already have an enclosure and would like to add a heating section to it. These models can also cater for larger quantities of chicks more easily if required. We stock Comfort Chick in 5 sizes and the Caleo brand in 2 sizes. Comfort Chick has larger size options. The largest size is 40x60cm and suits up to 50-55 chicks. The Comfort Chick has an optional thermo-controller that allows you to adjust the temperature up or down. Alternatively, you can manually adjust the plate level to change the heat level being provided.
