Reptile One Halogen Infrared Heat Lamps provide essential warmth for rehabilitating animals or neonates. These lamps produce a soft light output while providing optimal heat conditions. Infrared heat lamps can be used on a range of animals, including reptiles, birds, poultry, and mammals, and are an ideal choice in situations such as rehabilitation and brooding, where bright lights can cause stress to the animals. This item can also be used to keep baby chickens or ducks warm during the first few weeks of life.

See below for a comparison of the new Halogen globes to the older incandescent types.

Size Guide: For poultry chicks, during winter, it is suggested to use a 72W Halogen or a 42W lamp during the warmer periods. For large groups, you may also want to consider using 2 lamps and 2 globes.
