Vegan Dog Food: We have 2 main brands of vegan dog food. Biopet Vegan and Cezar's Choice Vegan Food. Biopet has been popular for many years while Cezars Choice Hot Dog Vegan is relatively new and is growing in popularity. Cezars also has a premium grain free option. Both brands are Australian made. Vegan Dog Food is free of animal products like meat.

About Biopet Vegan Pet Food:

Dogs are omnivores and as such can happily thrive eating an all vegetable diet. If you want to avoid feeding your dog meat or animal products, then BiOpet Vegan dog food will satisfy your dogs needs.

Protein is supplied from field peas, green beans, soya beans, sunflower seed meal and maize gluten.

Energy is supplied from nutritious wholesome malt and whole grains. Vegetable oil is a source of A3 and A6 essential fatty acids as well as energy. A3 and A6 help the immune system and give the pet a glossy coat.

BiOpet Vegan Adult dog food is a complete food which meets the nutritional requirements for adult dog maintenance as listed by the AAFCO, a worldwide recognised body for pet food nutritional standards.

Vitamins A, D3,E,K,B1, B2, B6, B12, biotin, folic, niacin, pantothenic and trace minerals – iron, copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, cobalt, selenium are added to ensure a healthy dog.

Beet pulp and yucca extract are added to aid the digestive tract and ensure firm, low odour stools.

Taurine is added to ensure an adequate level is present in the food to meet larger breeds requirements.

Lutein, a natural carotenoid, is an antioxidant and is available from the maize gluten (non allergenic) in the food.

We got this answer from the manufacturer "Yes it is, all our diets are produced at cool temperatures which preserves heat sensitive micro and macro nutrients. 90% if not all commercial pet foods are produced at temperatures above 135 degrees which sterilizes most of the Micro nutrients and denatures Proteins. ONLY food produced below 100 degrees is complete"
