Prilled vs Granular:
Prilled fertilisers are very fine, small spheres that dissolve quickly for rapid nutrient release, making them ideal for precision applications and immediate nitrogen uptake. Still, they can be prone to uneven spreading and wind drift. Granular fertilisers are larger, more durable pellets that provide a controlled, slower release of nutrients over a more extended period, offer better spreading characteristics, and reduce nutrient loss.
