Living World Extrusion for Ferrets is a premium, all-in-one diet that contains a blend of high quality, highly palatable ingredients to ensure ferrets receive a correctly-balanced meal.
Ferrets have a habit of picking out their favourite food from conventional diet mixes, usually the parts that are high in fat. With Living World Extrusion, there’s no selective eating or food waste. Extrusion’s specially-balanced formula has all the protein, fibre, vitamins, and minerals necessary to help keep ferrets healthy, including a soft, shiny coat and strong bones.
The food comes in a stand-up bag with a resealable zipper to seal in freshness. Living World Extrusion Diet is also available for hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits.

Q. Is this ferret food a soft-moist food? 

A. This food is not soft or moist but a crunchy extrusion pellet. It was suggested by someone to add a little water to the food to make it moist, however, they were referring to the vetafarm food and I'm not sure if the same applies to this brand. Alternatively would suggest our fresh meat rolls for your ferrets as a soft option.

Q. My ferret is quite a fussy eater and won't eat the Vetafarm branded ferret food? Can you suggest another brand option?

A. The NSW Ferret Welfare Society's website suggests Science Diet Kitten Food for ferrets 0 to 4 years old and Adult Science Diet Cat food for Ferrets over 4 years old.
