Lawnporn Root Builder+ is a liquid seaweed concentrate formulated to stimulate root development in lawns. Made from South African kelp, Ecklonia maxima, it supports lawn establishment and recovery following stress or renovation. Suitable for all grass types, including buffalo, couch, kikuyu and zoysia.
The concentrated kelp formulation encourages root development without promoting excessive leaf growth. Stronger roots help lawns access water and nutrients and improve their ability to cope with environmental stress. Available in a 1L bottle.

Application rates
Apply 50–100mL per 100 m² of lawn, diluted in 5–15L of water. Use the lower rate for the first application.

Directions for use
- Measure the lawn area to calculate the amount required.
- Half-fill the spray tank with water.
- Shake the bottle, then add the measured concentrate while stirring.
- Add the remaining water and mix thoroughly.
- Apply evenly, using enough water to cover the treatment area.
Repeat every 14–28 days during the growing season. A watering can generally requires more water than a pressure sprayer. When applying as a soil drench, follow the application with irrigation.
Coverage per 1L bottle
- At 50mL per 100m²: treats 2,000m².
- At 100mL per 100m²: treats 1,000m².
Coverage figures are for one application. The bottle's front label states coverage of up to 1,000m²; the lower rate in the directions provides coverage of 2,000m².
Precautions and storage
- Do not use spray equipment previously used for herbicide application.
- Do not store below -5°C, as crystallisation may occur.
- Follow the safety instructions on the product packaging.
