Disclaimer: Kits come flat packed and will require assembly. The medium and large brooders include a 50 Watt Ceramic heat lamp and can take lamps up to 75 Watts only. Do not use a brooder with a ceramic lamp that uses more than 75 watts.

A. The small kit should be used with the light running continuously, night and day. This light provides both light and heat. The young chickens will still sleep fine even with the light on at night.

A. Yes, it can be adjusted via the provided dimmer.
Q. What is the brooder made of? Is it waterproof for baby ducks?
A. These brooders are made from a type of plastic and are waterproof and suitable for ducklings.

A. The current model comes with Australian Plugs. Previous models came with Chinese plugs requiring an adaptor to be used with the Australian power outlet
