Mono Potassium Phosphate is a soluble PK fertiliser for fertigation with high levels of Phosphorus and Potassium.

An extremely pure monopotassium phosphate. We’re the world’s largest manufacturer of MKP made using our exclusive technology, so you can be sure it’s the best. It’s quick and easy to dissolve completely in water, and is extremely low in sodium. We recommend using it with any crop and any fertigation system, such as drip irrigation, hydroponics, sprinklers, pivots, or as a monopotassium phosphate foliar spray. You don’t need to worry about phytotoxicity or leaf burn. Your nutrient solution’s pH will be stable thanks to its buffering effect. We’ve formulated Nova PeaK MKP without nitrogen so that your plants benefit from an optimum P: K ratio at growth stages when they need less nitrogen, such as flowering, fruit set, ripening, and harvest.

NPK Levels: 0-52-34 (0-22.7-28.2)

Disclaimer: Actual brand supplied may vary from the one depicted in the image. Only the 25kg size comes in original packaging; all other sizes will be provided in clear bags. If multiple items of one size are ordered, they will likely be combined into one bag.

Advantages:

  • The highest phosphorus-concentrated fertiliser.
  • Very low salt index.
  • Free of chlorine, sodium and impurities, the product is very safe for foliar applications or sprinkler irrigation without risk of causing phytotoxicity or burning leaves.
  • Nova PeaK exerts a buffering effect which tends to stabilise the pH of the nutritive solutions.
  • The absence of Nitrogen in Nova PeaK permits application of the most appropriate ratio of P: K for different stages: rooting, flowering, fruit set, ripening and harvest, stages where a lower level of Nitrogen is required.

Description:

Nova PeaK has a low salt index, which makes it the ideal phosphorus and potassium-containing fertiliser for fertigation. The purity of the product allows both elements to be easily taken up.

Made with an exclusive proprietary technology and to ensure maximum quality, Nova PeaK is a high-purity product that is totally soluble in water and fast dissolving. With its low salt index, Nova PeaK is recommended for use in any type of crop and fertigation system: drip irrigation, hydroponics, sprinklers, pivots, or foliar spray.

Directions for Use:

Nova PeaK is one of the most used straight fertilisers in tailor-made crop recommendations. The high content level of Phosphorus and Potassium makes the product very flexible to be used in hydroponics, matching easily the plant’s needs for these nutrients.

Recommended dilution rate = 10-15 kg / 100 litre.  (100-150 grams / 1 Litre)

Agronomical Advantages:

1. Very pure, free-flowing due to the unique production process
2. Maximum flexibility in the use of Nitrogen
3. Maximum content-safety
4. Plant supporter when foliar applied
5. No ammonia; the best fit for hydroponic growing systems
6. Ideal for open-field fertigation
7. Great crop starter, flower initiation
8. Ideal tank buffer

1. Nova PeaK (KH2PO4) or mono potassium phosphate has a guaranteed nutrient content of 85,5 points of P and K. This makes Nova PeaK a very concentrated product. Due to the unique production process of Nova PeaK 0,5% SO4 is part of the formulation, which keeps this product always and unconditionally free-flowing.

2. When using Nova PeaK, the flexibility is high. Nova PeaK can be used in combination with any Nitrogen-containing fertiliser. There is optimum freedom to choose the ideal fertigation program for the crops that are grown.

3. Nova PeaK is very safe. It does not contain chlorides, sodium or relevant heavy metals.

Foliar application frequency & timing (from the manufacturer)

Below is general foliar guidance across crops, with stage‑based frequency, mix concentration limits, water quality targets, and key application cautions.
What MKP foliar does (context)
MKP supplies phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) without nitrogen, which is useful when you want to support flowering, fruit set, sizing and ripening while moderating N. It also has a low salt index and a buffering effect around ~pH 5 in solution, which is favourable for leaf uptake and tank stability. (Product label/tech data)
Foliar concentration & spray volumes (all crops)
  • General concentration window: 0.5–2.0% w/v (i.e., 0.5–2.0 kg per 100 L).
    • Start 0.5–1.0% on young or tender foliage.
    • You can step up to 1.5–2.0% on mature/tolerant foliage, monitoring for any leaf marking.
  • Typical spray volumes:
    • Vegetables/row crops: ~200–400 L/ha to achieve uniform coverage.
    • Tree/perennial crops: 400–800 L/ha (adjust to canopy density for thorough wetting without runoff).
  • Absolute cap: Do not exceed 1 lb/US gal (~120 g/L; ~12% w/v) in concentrate mixes; for dilute field sprays, keep within the 0.5–2.0% range above to avoid phytotoxicity.
Frequency by growth stage (foliar‑only program)
  • Pre‑flower / early bloom: Apply every 10–14 days × 1–2 sprays.
  • Fruit set / early sizing: Every 7–10 days × 2–3 sprays (this is typically where foliar MKP delivers the most value).
  • Sizing to color/ripening: Every 10–14 days × 1–2 sprays, as needed based on tissue tests and crop response.
  • Non‑flowering / vegetative periods: Generally extend to 14–21 days only if tissue tests indicate need; otherwise, prioritise soil/fertigation PK.
Rule of thumb: For continuous programs, a 7–14‑day interval is typical; shorten to 7–10 days under high demand (flowering/fruit set) and lengthen under lower demand or heat stress.
Water quality, mixing & compatibility
  • Water pH: Aim for pH 5.0–6.5 in the spray tank. MKP buffers slightly acidic, but check the source water and acidify if needed.
  • Water hardness (Ca/Mg): Prefer soft to moderately soft water; hardness can reduce performance and promote precipitates.
  • Mixing order:
    1. Part‑fill tank with water → 2) Add MKP and fully dissolve → 3) Add compatible foliar nutrients/pesticides → 4) Top up → 5) Add adjuvant last (only if label‑approved).
  • Do not tank‑mix MKP with calcium or magnesium salts/products, and avoid strongly alkaline mixes (e.g., Bordeaux/copper hydroxide); use chelated micros (Fe/ Mn/Zn/Cu) if included. Always jar‑test first.
Application timing & environment
  • Best time of day: Early morning or late afternoon/evening for cooler temperatures, higher humidity, and better stomatal/cuticular uptake.
  • Leaf wetness & drying: Target slow, even drying (no imminent rain/overhead irrigation for 3–4 hours).
  • Temperature/wind: Avoid spraying if >28–30 °C, low humidity, or windy—to reduce burn and drift.
Phytotoxicity & crop safety guardrails
  • Stay within 0.5–2.0% w/v; use the low end on tender foliage, seedlings, or heat‑stressed crops.
  • Do not apply to wilting or heat‑stressed plants; pause during heatwaves.
  • Watch sensitive varieties for leaf edge bronzing; if observed, reduce concentration and/or increase interval.
  • As with any foliar, trial a small block first before broad-scale use on new varieties.
Foliar vs. soil/fertigation note
Foliar MKP is a supplement, not a complete PK program. For sustained PK supply (especially in high‑load cropping), consider fertigation MKP in parallel, then use foliar at the critical reproductive windows as outlined above.
If you can share the target crops and application equipment, I can tune the rates (e.g., droplet size/nozzle selection, canopy‑specific volumes) more precisely.
