IPF Sulphate of Potash Granular Fertiliser (Also known as Potassium Sulphate)
A high potassium fertiliser, formulated to boost plant strength, colour, and overall quality, with particular benefits for flowering and fruiting varieties. It supplies 41% potassium and 17% sulphur, which are two vital nutrients for healthy plant growth.
A trusted potassium source for home gardeners, offering a lower salt index compared to Muriate of Potash. When applied regularly, it enhances plant health, improves flower and fruit quality and colour, and helps increase disease resistance.
More About IPF Sulphate of Potash:
SOP provides both potassium and sulphur in soluble forms.
SOP contains no chloride and hence has a much lower salt index than MOP. Where soils are saline or sodic and irrigation water contains high chloride levels, SOP is the preferred form of potassium to use.
Where seeds or transplants are placed in direct contact with fertiliser, SOP is much less likely to cause root burn of plants.
Potassium stimulates the growth of strong stems and gives the plant some disease resistance by promoting the thickness of the outer cell walls. Adequate potassium can help reduce moisture loss from growing plants, thereby giving some drought resistance. Potassium improves colour, flavour and storage quality of fruit and vegetables.
