This bird mirror and perch toy combines a mirror with a roomy landing and standing area for small birds. A mirror can provide entertainment and amusement for birds. The two hanging hooks can be turned to attach the toy to the side of the cage.
Size and suitability
- Dimensions: 10.1 cm long × 9 cm wide × 12 cm high, including the two hooks.
- Suitable for most smaller birds, including finches, canaries, budgies, small doves and lovebirds (peachfaces), depending on the bird's size. Cockatiels are a little too large for these perches; however, we have observed them using them at times.
- Check that your bird can perch comfortably and that the toy fits securely in the cage.
Use and care
Monitor your bird's response to the mirror. Remove it if your bird becomes aggressive, excessively attached to its reflection or repeatedly regurgitates towards it. Check the mirror, perch and hooks regularly, and remove the toy if damaged.
