Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust 500g Shaker
A 3-in-1 insecticide, miticide and fungicide that controls pests and diseases on home-grown tomatoes and all vegetables (except cucumbers).
This product extension to the popular Yates Tomato Dust is based on the active ingredients spinosad, sulfur and copper. Sulfur and copper are well-established controls for a wide range of diseases. Sulfur also provides control of mites.
Compared to these familiar actives, the insecticide spinosad (which is derived from a natural soil organism) is a relative newcomer. Best known as the active ingredient in Yates Success, spinosad’s registrations and uses in the Australian home garden are gradually being expanded. This is no quick or easy matter – it requires many expensive trials and subsequent submission (and acceptance) of data to regulatory authorities.
Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust controls caterpillars, mites, tomato leaf miner, fungal leaf blights and spots, powdery mildew, downy mildew and rust. Its low toxic, effective components and quick-and-easy method of application will ensure it will be well received and widely used by home vegetable growers.
Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust has a three-day withholding period (time after application until produce can be picked) for tomatoes, and a one-day withholding period for all other vegetables
A ready to use dust that kills and controls some of the major pests and diseases on tomatoes and vegetables.
