Spring Onion: A crisp and crunchy type with plump white, pungent stems and choice green leaves. Popular variety. Very versatile in salads, sandwiches and as a garnish.

Straight Leaf: A most welcome addition to the home garden range! This variety holds its stem and leaves straight upwards. Upright growth habit means the plants look much tidier and are less prone to disease.

Sow: Direct in narrow drills. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix and keep moist. 

Care: Choose a sunny position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results. Harvest both tops and white stems. Shoots are crisper early in the season and more pungent later. Keep well watered. Easy to grow in containers. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
