Baby Leaf:  A popular addition to mixed salads, Baby Spinach leaves are prized for their nutty flavour and their pleasant texture. Smooth, round leaves are ready for harvest in a matter of weeks.

Summer Supreme: A recently bred warm season variety that for the first time allow spinach to be grown well in summer. Large, highly nutritious and tasty.

Winter Queen: A quick growing winter vegetable that is highly nutritious and tasty. This variety features large, dark green leaves with good texture.

Baby Leaf:

 

A popular addition to mixed salads, Baby Spinach leaves are prized for their nutty flavour and their pleasant texture. Smooth, round leaves are ready for harvest in a matter of weeks.

Position: Full Sun or part shade

Sow: Sow direct where they are to grow. Firm down, water gently and keep moist through the germination period. Thin crowded seedlings after germination.

Care: Choose a sunny or partly shaded position in a garden bed or pot. Add Yates Blood & Bone before planting and fertilise regularly with Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food. Keep in a cool spot during hot weather. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem Snail & Slug Pellets.

Sow: Raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix or sow direct into garden position. Cover seed with mix. firm down and keep moist.

Care: Best grown in a sunny, well drained garden soil with the addition of Yates Thrive Granular Complete Plant Food. Water well and apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser weekly. Pick outer leaves as required or harvest the entire plant. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.

Position: Full sun.

Sow: Directly in garden that has been well worked with compost or Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser. Sow a few seeds in clumps 30-40cm apart, later thinning to the strongest of each clump.

Care: Select a sunny well drained position. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser every 3 weeks for fast growth. Successive sowings give best results. Pick outer leaves as needed. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
