Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. I have a container of Rid a Rot and with all this wet weather I was wondering if I could use this product safely on Erimophila Nivea.

A. After speaking to someone from the manufacturer they said they were not familiar with that particular type of native but thought it would most likely be ok to use. The manufacturers website does say (see link) "Excellent for Australian Natives" but the current label on the bottle does not mention natives specifically.

The label does mention for use on Ornamentals and states that " Certain plants may be sensitive to phosphorous acid sprays. Test on a small sample if in doubt" This may apply to some natives since certain natives can indeed be sensitive to phosphorous. In sum i think it would be wise to take the labels advice and test a small sample spot first before applying more widely and only do so if there are no ill effects in the spot trial.
