The perfect product for: Greening existing lawns fast

Richgro Extra Green is a fast acting, phosphate-free lawn fertiliser that has been formulated using totally soluble nutrients. This gives you a faster result and a great looking lawn sooner. It is safe to use on Buffalo lawns and contains EZI-WET soil wetter for a well watered lawn for up to 6 months.

Directions for use

Established lawn and turf

Apply 50g per square metre to DRY lawn or turf every six to eight weeks. For best results apply from early spring, summer and through to the end of Autumn. Richgro Extra Green can be applied by hand or fertiliser spreader.

Important Note - As Richgro Extra Green is highly soluble and fast acting, it must be WATERED IN IMMEDIATELY AFTER APPLICATION.

Richgro Extra green is not recommended for new lawns, so please use Richgro organic based Lawn Starter Lawn Food for new lawns.

One adult handful is approximately 50g.

Why do I need to fertilise my lawn and garden?

Lawns and garden are not unlike people, in that to remain healthy and resistant to disease they need a healthy diet of nutrients and trace elements.
The natural soil or garden bed does not always contain these nutrients and trace elements, as a result plants may grow slowly and become unhealthy which may make them susceptible to stress caused by extremes of weather and also disease.
Regular applications of the correct fertiliser along with a soil balanced in organic matter will reduce the likelihood of your plants becoming diseased, reduce weeds and ensure your garden always looks its best.
