Q. Is this rat cage also suitable for mice?
A. Generally, this cage is not suitable for mice as they may fit through the wire spacing. The wire spacing of this cage is about 10 to 11mm and makes it suitable for keeping a large mouse, but this is uncertain.
Q. Does this rat cage come flat-packed or fully assembled?
A. This cage comes flat-packed and will require assembly. This cage is quite easy to assemble.
Q. Is this cage big enough for 2 female rats?
A. After calling the person who looks are our pets at the store I was told that this cage would be fine for 2 female rats as long you provide "nests" ie places for them to hide and maintain personal space.
Q. Could you please tell me if the bars of your rat cages are powder-coated, plastic-covered or painted?
A. According to the manufacturer, all their cages are powder-coated.
Q. How many adult rats can this cage fit?
A. After enquiring at our Enfield store, it was suggested that up to 2 rats per cage.
