IMPORTANT:

When cutting your pet's nails, be careful not to cut into the 'quick' of the nails. The 'quick' is the inner soft pinkinsh part containing blood vessels and nerve endings, and can be quite painful for your pet if cut. If nails are long, just trim a little bit off then wait one week to trim again, allowing the blood vessels to retreat back into the nail. Continue to trim weekly until the desired length is reached.
