Jiffy Quick Soil Mix: Jiffy Quick Soil pellets are made with premium peat which provides the best propagation medium for your seeds. They encourage healthy plants with rapid growth and development. Jiffy QSM pellets are a high-quality seed starting substrate that are lightweight and easy to use. Jiffy Peat is a sustainable product as it is harvested in a country where the overall peat bog regeneration rate is greater than that harvested. Polices are in place to aid in preservation and reclamation of peat bogs following harvest
To Sow And Grow: Sow indoors from mid-winter onwards or outdoors during warmer months in a sunny position, transplanting excess seedlings to the garden after danger of frost has passed. Remove the out packaging, clear lid and the seed packet. Pour 300ml of warm water over the Jiffy Quick Soil Mix pellet. When the pellet has fully expanded, mix the soil and firm down gently. Sow seeds 3mm deep, covering lightly, and place the clear lid on top. Ensure soil remains moist and add additional water when the soil starts to turn light brown, taking care not to overwater. Remove the lid when appear, usually in 3-5days. Transplant seedlings into final growing position when large enough to handle. Gently and carefully work from the bottom and sides to loosen and separate the plant from the container. Always handle the plants carefully to assist in the transplantation process.
