Aristopet Stop Itch for Dogs & Cats 250ml Iodine Antiseptic Lotion is a Broad-Spectrum Antiseptic Skin Treatment for Dogs, cats, and horses.
Active Constituents:
15g/L Povidone-Iodine.
6g/L Iodophor (equivalent to 0.75% available Iodine)
Directions for Use:
As a Shampoo to prevent the spread of Fungal Ringworm and Eczema infection and other Skin Diseases: Wash the animal all over as soon as symptoms appear. Dilute 1 part of Stop-Itch to 20 parts warm water and rub well into the coat. Allow the foam to remain on for at least 5 minutes. Rinse, dry, then liberally apply undiluted Stop-Itch to infected and surrounding areas. If using on a cat, wipe any excess off the coat. Repeat daily for 3-4 days or until the condition improves.
For use on Wounds: For emergency treatment of lacerations, wire cuts, burns, abrasions, and other superficial animal wounds, dab the wound with cotton wool or gauze soaked in undiluted Stop-Itch. Repeat daily for 3-4 days or until healing is well evidenced.
Greasy Heel/Qld Itch/Saddle Acne/Girth Itch in Horses: Most importantly, remove scabs that are indicative of infected heels. Using a solution of 1 part Stop-Itch to 20 parts warm water, rub vigorously to soften and remove scabs. Thoroughly dry and rub undiluted Stop-Itch into affected areas twice daily until heels are completely free of infection.
For horses and dogs that have been in contact with or have used the same equipment as an infected animal, thoroughly treat as directed with diluted Stop-Itch on a daily basis until the infection is cleared from the stable or kennel.

Use on puppies and kittens older than 12 weeks of age.
As a shampoo: Dilute 1 part Stop-itch to 20 parts warm water and rub well into the coat, allowing the foam to remain for at least 5 minutes. Rinse, dry, and then apply Stop-Itch liberally to the infected and surrounding areas. Wipe off excess from cat coats.
For skin diseases: Clean the affected area with a solution of 1 part Stop-Itch to 20 parts warm water. Towel dry, then apply Stop-Itch undiluted to the affected area. Repeat daily for 3-4 days, or until the condition improves.

Precautions and Contraindications:
- DO NOT USE on puppies or kittens under 12 weeks old.
- Restrain the pet from licking the treated area, as some animals are sensitive to iodine treatments.
