Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Is Aquasol suitable as a Lucky Bamboo fertilizer?

A. After calling the manufacturer I was told that this fertilizer is fine for lucky bamboo that's in soil, but if it's in water it's not really registered for this kind of use. They also said that some people do still use it on lucky bamboo at a very weak rate but when I asked about an application rate they could not recommend one since its not registered for this type of use. You might want to consider plant starter as an alternative for lucky bamboo, see link below.

Q. Is Aquasol a product made by Yates?

A. Yes, Aquasol is a Yates product, but for some reason, the Yates branding is not very prominent on the packet or product information.

Q. Do you know the sources of Nitrogen for Aquasol (e.g NO3, NH4)?

A. After speaking to someone at Yates I was told the sources of Nitrogen for Aquasol are Ammonia and Urea.

Q. Does Aquasol contain Potassium Nitrate?

A. After calling Yates I was told that it contained Potassium Sulphate and not Potassium Nitrate.
