Red Factor Canary Seed is a seed mix specifically designed to enhance feather colour in red factor canaries. Use Red Factor Canary Seed as at least 50% of the usual seed diet all year round.

Feed as 100% of the seed diet prior to and during heavy feather moult.

Ingredients

Canary Seed, Hulled Oats, Japanese Millet, Shirohie Millet, Canola Seed, Linseed, Canthaxanthin. Some seasonal variation in seed types and quantities may occur.

If feeding seed as the main diet, birds may become deficient in essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and amino acids, particularly when breeding. We recommend supplementing with Passwell Crumbles or Passwell Egg & Biscuit, which contain a balance of these essential ingredients.

Alternatively, vitamins & minerals may be supplied from supplements such as Multi-Vite for Birds, calcium and vitamin D₃ from LiquidGold and essential fatty acids from TheGoodOil for Birds.
