First year: Feed Chicken Wormer MP for 7 consecutive days (one week). Return to your chosen poultry feed for two months (approximately 8-9 weeks), then feed Chicken Wormer MP again for another 7 consecutive days.

Thereafter: Following the first-year program, Chicken Wormer MP can be fed once per year for 7 consecutive days before returning to your normal poultry feed. Alternatively, it can be fed twice per year, with September and/or March suggested.

The worming program can begin at any time of year. Once the first-year program has been completed, early spring (September) is suggested for an annual treatment, or September and March if worming twice per year.

Use the product within six months of the date of manufacture shown on the bag.

Feeding Chickens Normally Fed Scratch or Grain Mixes

Moving chickens from a scratch or high-grain mix onto a pelleted feed can sometimes be challenging. For chickens that are reluctant to eat the Chicken Wormer MP macro pellet, the feed can be prepared as a damp mash during the 7-day worming program.

Allow approximately 100-120g of Chicken Wormer MP per bird per day. Each evening, place the required amount of pellets in a bucket and add approximately 130ml of water for every 120g of pellets. Allow the mixture to soak overnight.

The following morning, stir the mixture and add additional water if required. Feed it to the chickens as a wet or damp mash without making it too soupy. Repeat for seven consecutive days.

Example: For 10 chickens at 120g per bird, use 1.20kg of feed and approximately 1.30L of water.

If chickens are still reluctant to eat the mash, a small amount of apple juice or apple pulp may be included as part of the water content. Tinned sardines or tuna can also be mixed thoroughly through the mash to encourage intake.

Suitable for Chickens Fed Vella Poultry Supreme

Chicken Wormer MP is particularly suited to flocks normally fed Vella Stock Feeds Poultry Supreme because it uses the same diet and particle size with the addition of Flubenol 5%. This can help with acceptance by the flock. Chickens fed other manufacturers' layer pellets have also been observed accepting the diet.
